Brief: Develop branding for an alternative online streaming service.
Solution: Evolve is an online streaming service that provides educational and original content for children. The logo draws inspiration from cell cycle-the beginning to growth and evolution. The logo has organic circles that are different sizes but in reflection of each other to represent the parent-and-child relationship. This concept also serves as the brand's encouragement for parents to be more present in their children's early stages of development.
The challenge of this branding is to appeal to two very different demographics. The parents (who sign up for Evolve's service), and their children (who are the actual consumer of the streaming content). I focused on appealing the parents through tone of voice, and attracting the children with soft primary colors. The use of primary colors is to suggest the importance of watching Evolve as children grow up. Just as primary colors are the foundations to create more beautiful colors, Evolve is the brand that facilitates and celebrates children for developing their colorful personalities.
